In Memoriam

Generally speaking, it is thought that people come into your lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When it’s for a REASON, it’s usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They come to assist you through a difficult time, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. But it’s only for a reason.

When it’s for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. But it’s only for a season.

When it’s for a LIFETIME they teach you lessons from which to build upon in order to have a more solid emotional foundation. Your responsibility is to accept the lesson, love them and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.

Emerson, Ronnie, Elijah, David, Matthew, Freeda, Chuck, Marshall & Stokes brought all of those things into my life and the lives of those they touched. I am forever grateful, that our paths crossed. Thank you, Father.
